The growth style of investing which capitalizes on the prospects of a company or a sector as it matures over time. Alternative energy firms (now), internet and telecom companies (in 1999-2000), and generally high technology businesses usually offer (offered) “hot” growth opportunities. The stocks of those companies seem to keep going up with no evident means of support. However, value exists even in glamour investing industries where a sharp-eyed investor may put hands on undervalued bargains within these sectors, proverbially hitting two birds with one stone.
