Bearish Bias

A market bias in which the majority of investors perceive the broader market to be in an downtrend. This represents the overall dominating opinion of the majority of the market participants that the market is taking a downward trajectory. It explains the current bearish actions of the market, as well as its future bearish course of action. If the majority of investors wants to sell a given stock(s), the market bias is viewed to be bearish.
